Chris W. Foy, President of General Sports Alliances, brings more than thirteen years of professional sales experience to General Sports, the majority of which has been focused on national sales. Chris's extensive background in both property and corporate sales representation is the foundation behind General Sports Alliances - the naming rights and sponsorship sales and consulting division of General Sports and Entertainment. Chris oversees all day-to-day operations of General Sports Alliances. General Sports Alliance's sponsorship sales and consulting clients include the Minnesota Twins, the Atlanta Falcons, the Golden State Warriors, Florida Citrus Sports, Ultimate Soccer Arenas, Coors Amphitheater, and Coco Key Resorts.
Prior to launching General Sports Alliances, Chris was Vice President of National Sales for Live Nation in the U.S., the world's largest "live' entertainment company. At Live Nation, Chris's primary responsibility was to build successful sponsorship platforms across Live Nation's primary assets, which included venues (69 venues), major concert promotion, as well as theatrical, motorsports and custom programming.
Chris's naming rights and sales representation experience was honed while working for The Bonham Group, one of the most respected naming rights companies in the U.S. As Vice President of Sales for The Bonham Group, Chris was hired to build and launch The Bonham Group's sponsorship sales division. In this role, Foy led and executed all national sales campaigns, including naming rights sales campaigns for the Columbus Crew, Phoenix Coyotes, Golden State Warriors, Kroenke Sports Enterprises, University of Miami, New Orleans Hornets and Seattle Seahawks.
Born and raised in Toronto, Chris was a draft pick of the New York Islanders and played professional hockey for three seasons, including brief stints with the Salt Lake City Golden Eagles and the Houston Aeros.
