General Sports and Entertainment Launches Newest Division, General Sports Alliances, LLC

ROCHESTER, MICH. — (August 7, 2006) — General Sports and Entertainment, LLC, (GSE) a multi-faceted sports and entertainment company located in Rochester, MI, is launching the newest division of the General Sports family. General Sports Alliances, LLC (GSA) provides sponsorship sales, naming rights and sponsorship consulting services.

Chris W. Foy, President of GSA, brings over 13 years of national sales experience to GSA and is one of the top naming rights and sponsorship executives in North America.

Prior to joining GSA, Foy served as the Vice President of National Sales for Live Nation (formerly Clear Channel Entertainment), the world's largest "live" entertainment company. He was responsible for selling national sponsorship platforms across all of Live Nation's assets.

In addition, for more than five years, Foy served as Vice President of Sales for The Bonham Group. He launched the company's sales division growing it into one of the most active sales agencies within the naming rights industry.

General Sports and Entertainment, LLC was founded in 1998 by Andrew D. Appleby. Prior to starting GSE, Appleby served as Senior Vice President of Palace Sports & Entertainment. He helped to lead the Palace organization in creating the first fully integrated sponsorship agreements and negotiated sponsorships for The Palace of Auburn Hills and the Detroit Pistons.
