THE LEADER IN NAMING RIGHTS &
SPONSORSHIP SOLUTIONS

In August 2006, General Sports launched its newest division - General Sports Alliances™. The company's primary focus is on providing sales and consulting expertise in the area of naming rights and major national and regional sponsorship agreements.

General Sports Alliances is led by President Chris Foy, one of the top naming rights and sponsorship executives in North America. Chris has more than 14 years of national sales experience. Prior to launching General Sports Alliances, Chris served as Vice President of National Sales for Live Nation (formerly Clear Channel Entertainment). Chris honed his naming rights and sales representation experience while serving as Vice President of Sales for The Bonham Group where he launched the company's sales division and grew it into one of the most active sales agencies within the naming rights industry.

Chris and the Alliances team will be able to draw upon the significant sponsorship and sports marketing expertise of the entire General Sports team, led by Chairman and Founder Andy Appleby. Before launching General Sports and Entertainment in 1998, Andy served as Senior Vice President of Palace Sports & Entertainment, where he helped to create the first fully integrated sponsorship agreements and negotiated sponsorships for The Palace of Auburn Hills and the Detroit Pistons. Over the past decade, the executive team at General Sports has worked with a host of Fortune 500 companies and sports and entertainment properties across North America to negotiate and activate sponsorship agreements. These clients have included AC Delco, Avaya, Blue Cross Blue Shield, The Cleveland Clinic, the Columbus Crew, Comerica, Flagstar Bank, GMAC, the Golden State Warriors, the Holiday Bowl, the Ottawa Senators, IKON, the Phoenix Coyotes, Royal Bank of Canada, the Seattle Seahawks, Sporting News Radio, the Vitalis Sun Bowl, the University of Miami and VIA Rail Canada.

In less than six months of operation, General Sports Alliances has secured high profile clients including the Atlanta Falcons, the Golden State Warriors, the AVP (Pro Beach Volleyball Tour), the Wooden Award, Opt It (a mobile marketing / social networking client), the Rockford RiverHawks, Ultimate Soccer Arenas and the Bayview Mackinac Sailing Race. General Sports Alliances is based in Denver, with offices in Detroit and Los Angeles. The company is growing to meet the needs of its customers, and there are plans to open a New York office in 2007.
